This third album of Clov is a concept album that tries to tell the usual and ordinary evolution of a love relationship: the initial infatuation, where the physical and chemical attraction between two subjects prevails; the falling in love, in which mutual knowledge is deepened; the differentiation and disillusionment, that leads to seeing the person for what he really is; the inevitable end, with its pain of detachment and the sense of loss.
The album was entirely recorded at home and saw the collaboration of numerous playmates who embellished the pieces with ethereal violins, broken up and then reassembled saxophones, intense drums and percussion, tenacity and patience. The album is characterized as a lo-fi full of distorted guitars, synths and bad noises, less industrial than the previous works, but still faithful to noise, with more psychedelia, synthetic ballads and unconventional pop melodies.
And anyway it's all folk music.
